01 About

Engineer at the intersection of intelligence, security, and product.

I’m a software engineer who likes difficult problems with tangible outcomes: safer AI, faster data systems, and products people choose to use.

My work moves comfortably between technical depth and product ownership. I’ve led AI red-teaming for Toyota, improved computer-vision and data systems at John Deere, and built Fapply from first idea to a platform serving more than 500 active users.

I earned my B.S. in Software Engineering with a Data Science minor from Iowa State University, where my team won the 2024 Senior Design Project award.

01

Build for consequence

Prioritize reliability, safety, and the outcome—not the novelty of the stack.

02

Own the full loop

Move from user research and architecture through delivery, measurement, and iteration.

03

Make complexity useful

Translate sophisticated systems into clear, dependable experiences for real people.

02 Experience

A track record of shipping, scaling, and strengthening systems.

From founder-led product development to enterprise AI and high-performance data infrastructure.

2025—Now

Fapply

Founder

Chicago, IL

Founded and scaled an AI-powered job search platform and browser copilot to $2,500 in monthly recurring revenue and 500+ active users.

  • Architected a full-stack serverless product across AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Stripe.
  • Integrated Gemini and ChatGPT APIs with vector search for intelligent job matching and application support.
  • Owned product strategy, CI/CD, analytics, user research, brand, and go-to-market execution.

Toyota

Generative AI Developer

Remote · Chicago, IL

Led AI security strategy for conversational and agentic systems, hardening production workflows against emerging adversarial threats.

  • Built adversarial simulation frameworks for prompt injection, jailbreaking, and data-exfiltration testing.
  • Developed production guardrails with Python, AWS Lambda, Serverless, and Terraform.
  • Fine-tuned red-team and guardrail models using PyRIT, Bedrock, and SageMaker while contributing to AI governance standards.
